This charming small caddy, made in the late Victorian period, depicts the Chateau de Ramezay, in Montreal. It was manufactured by the Victoria porcelain factory in Bohemia (part of the Austrian Empire at the time) and is marked "Victoria, Austria" surrounding a crown. It is decorative only, as the lid is not a secure fit. 3 1/2"x 2 3/4" x 6". There is a hairline crack in the back neck opening, as shown in the photo, and the gilding is slightly worn in one or two spots.
