Cool drops of water on hot day, raining down out of the Irish Skies, and swirling and splashing into the lakes and pools. Some days, we can be basking in sunshine when our neighbours half a mile down the road are being pelted by huge drops of rain from a cloudburst ... we really are on the edge of the weather fronts from the Atlantic here.....

But there is a silver lining to this scarf - Celtic spirals in silver gutta, and swirly, pearly, water runs give the aqua coloured background a bright and rainwashed look. You don't need the rain to wear this square shawl, it will transform a simple linen top into something simply beautiful with its soft summery colours, or look colourful and light against darker coloured outfits.

This square shawl is made of a medium weight silk which drapes well and feels slightly heavier than a flimsy scarf - it feels luxurious.

Size approx 90cm by 90cm in Habotai 8 pure silk 34gm/metre sq. Hand rolled edges.

Care of your silk scarf is very easy - simply wash in mild and soapy hand wash and steam iron whilst still damp on the reverse of the design. Silk colours are iron fixed and pre-washed. Do not use detergents.

Each of my scarves are unique and hand styled by me.This item has been made and stored in a smoke-free environment, and comes with its own little storage bag.
