I've been told that American Jade is somewhat rare, and I was really excited to find these pieces that were awesome shapes for making pendulums out of!

The jade is a lovely marbled light green color, that with its black flecks looks exactly like mint chip ice cream! (See closeup in last pic.) Both pieces on the pendulum are so perfectly matched, that they even both have a little bit of mottled yellow on one side (see 4th pic.) The jade has been paired with hematite, and silver spacers were added to jazz things up a bit. Finally, a 7 inch copper curb chain was added to contrast with the other colors. I have NOT polished the copper, because I think it looks nice when it starts to antique, but you can certainly polish it if you like.

Hematite, as I've stated before, works really well in divination because it was used to help with scrying and is still commonly used for grounding and for banishing negative energy. Jade is another stone that has many beneficial uses, among them good fortune, healing, and protection. Jade is also used to find wisdom and to apply that wisdom to life situations, which makes it a good stone for a pendulum.

** For best results, it is recommended that you cleanse, charge, and/or consecrate any divination tool before using it for the first time. **
