Approximately 11" x 14" on Yupo paper, a polypropylene material meant for watercolor, inks, and water-based media. This is a mixed media work made using gouache and acrylic. This listing is for an unframed piece, although please contact me in a message if you'd like to receive the piece framed for an additional cost.

This painting will come to your doorstep ready to brighten any room with it's eye-popping color. I get inspiration from both vintage and contemporary interior design, using source imagery from both high and low: Pinterest clippings, the pages of Elle Decor, Le Corbusier furniture design, historical reproductions of Victorian houses, and more. I create my own fantasy spaces where color, shape, and the tactility of materials combine to create something new. Aggressive color, painterly drips and bleeds, and visible brushstrokes lend texture, interest, and excitement to a very minimal image.

Meet the owner of knowbyheart.
