This is a listing for 5 finger puppets.

I designed each character and created the patterns. After that I made the first prototypes, many of them needed to be altered. What you see in the pictures are the final prototypes (who am I kidding, they will be tweaked in the future). My granddaughters were thrilled to get all the rejected prototypes.

The basic body for these little guys is just over 3 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide. The hair, ears, arms, wings, and paws add to the basic body size. The faces are hand embroidered and will vary slightly from puppet to puppet. There are no beads or button to come off and create a choking hazard, but since the puppets are small they will still need to be monitored with the little ones.

There are so many creative ways to use the finger puppets.
1. Mommy or Daddy can use them to tell stories, while reading books, teach animal identification, do nursery rhymes, sing songs or for face recognition. A day care/preschool provider bought all the different types of animals to work with the little ones.
2. Little ones can pretend to be that animal or character. My 1 year old granddaughter loves to run around making animal noises and being pleased with herself.
3. Pre-schoolers can tell their own stories, recite nursery rhymes, sing with them or hold conversations. My 4 year old granddaughter takes her kitty on all sorts of adventures.
4. They are great travel toys, small, light, quiet, and come in a carry bag. The would be great anywhere that needs a quiet toy to keep the little one still.
5. School age children can tell stories, put on a puppet show and anything else that they can imagine. When all of the grandkids get together we get to sit through whole theater productions.
6. Any combination of characters would be great fun, but if you look closely there are also many songs, fairy tales and nursery rhyme combination. Here are a few examples: "Old MacDonald", "Bunny Foo Foo", 'Red Riding Hood', 'Hansel and Gretel', 'Goldilocks', 'Three Little Pigs', 'Rapunzel', 'Jack and Jill', 'Mary Had a Little Lamb', and many others

Please indicate in the note section which character/s you would like(see first picture).
