This vintage Hindu prayer bracelet is made from copper, brass, nickel and coral.
Sometimes referred to as an OM bracelet, this cuff has an ancient Indian Sanskrit script on the top which basically translates into I bow to Shiva or my inner self.
The main part of the piece is a 5/8" strip of copper trimmed in brass with a double braided band. The script is thick nickel - comes away from the copper a bit on the end but quite firmly attached otherwise - see last photo. The back opening of the cuff is decorated in a unique design with a small coral cabochon. Shows a bit of its age on the inside, worn copper and some scuffs on the letters, overall nice shape and great rustic look.
2 1/4" diameter
6" circumference with a 1" opening.
