Here we have a great pair of Vintage USS Yorktown CV-10 Souvenir Salt and Pepper Shakers from the 1980s. USS Yorktown is one of 24 Essex-class aircraft carriers built during World War II for the United States Navy. She is named after the Battle of Yorktown of the American Revolutionary War, and is the fourth U.S. Navy ship to bear the name. Yorktown was decommissioned in 1970 and in 1975 became a museum ship at Patriot's Point, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She is a National Historic Landmark. This pair of shakers are from the museum in Charleston, SC. They are off white ceramic shakers with a picture of the ship on the front. They are in perfect condition! This pair of salt and pepper shakers would make a great gift for a vintage lover or keep them for yourself!
