This is a very old black leather Native American beaded bag made in 1920's. It is from the Great Lakes region probably the Ojibwa Tribe. It came in a collection of other items listed in our store. The bead work on this bag is truly beautiful with a tassel at the bottom. There are signs of wear on the leather near the opening, the stitching in the seams is coming apart on the inside and there is one tear in the leather. (See the last photo) The strap is not original. Really cool for a collector or someone who appreciates these Native American beaded beauties.
