Beautiful styling and beautiful colors! This mid-century set is part of the Taylor Smith & Taylor Colorcraft line and was sold with the "Adagio" pattern of dishes.

Condition: The sugar bowl is in perfect vintage condition. The creamer has a hairline crack as shown in the last two photos. The glaze on both pieces is in great condition and the colors are nice and bright.

History: The Taylor, Smith and Taylor Company began in Chester, West Virginia around 1900. The mark of Taylor, Smith and Taylor was discontinued in 1973 when Anchor Hocking bought out the company. The Adagio pattern was sold in the early 1960's and was designed by John Gilkes.

Size: The creamer is 4" tall at the handle and 6" long. The sugar bowl is 4.25" in diameter and stands about 3" tall at the handle.

Marking: There pieces are unmarked, but the pattern is well documented and they were purchased with a Adagio dish set.
