I know it seems a bit cliche to say a labradorite looks like the aurora borealis - and I would like to avoid using this comparison- but I just cant not do it. This stone is truly like the northern lights.A deep and dark midnight blue with vivid flashes of peach pink and lavender. Very unusual colors in a labradorite stone!

It is a nice and thick hunk of an oval stone set in a fine silver frame with a heavy frame off sterling that has been textured. It site on a widee band- 1o mm that has been hammered into a cross hatch pattern

I oxidized it and then gave it a nice polish. The ring is nice and weighty and has a very substantial feel to it.
