This is an original Watercolor Painting painted on 140lb Arches cold press using only the highest quality professional artists materials.

Artist signature is on the front of the painting & initials incorporated within the painting.

This painting is Custom & Professionally Matted & Framed using all Archival Materials. They are in Protective UV Glass with Quality, Semi-gloss, Black Wooden Frames inclusive of Hanging Hardware. All are painted on Arches Watercolor 140lb Cold Press and measure 35 x 27 and 1 inch deep - They weigh 11 lbs.

I've provided a few close ups of the painting along with photos of it hanging in the Gallery.

These paintings were born upon learning about a very large tumor in my head and the surgery that I was about to undergo at Mayo Clinic, in February 2008. They told me that I had the tumor growing for about 20 years & after several years of Doctors seeing me for my symptoms & acting like it was "all in my head" - we ultimately learned that it was!

Each painting has a story and I'll list them for each piece.

"Ride With It" - From The Music Gives You Wings Collection.

Sports were woven into all of these paintings in an intricate way in my mind. Singular, perfect moments of a human life, living life to the fullest degree.

I admire so many of them and wish that I had their courage and physical fortitude.

I imagine, this surfer is me ... pivoting on this wave with relaxed precision and without fear.

I am the expert violinist, hitting the most perfectly calming and enduring note, in the mind of this surfer ... as he tackles the intensity and ferociousness of this potentially lethal wave ... and I Ride With It.

This collection was on exhibit at The Gallery at House of Stereo in Jacksonville, FL until I relocated in 2010.

Tamara McClaran of The Florida Times Union also wrote a very thoughtful story about the exhibit. (http://jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/082708/nes_322728543.shtml)
