This postcard would be perfect as decoration, to send to someone, scrapbooking and other art projects.

The card is in good condition with some wear. It is used, stamped and postmarked. The stamp is a green 1 cent Benjamin Franklin stamp. The postmark says: Fall River, Mass. South Sta., Jun 13, 430PM.

The card is addressed to:
Mrs. Muriel McClintock
953 N. Normandie Ave.
Hollywood,
California

The letter:
'East Main Rd.
Portsmouth, R. I.
6 - 9 - 36
Dear Muriel: -
I will be glad to exchange cards instead of letters as long as you care to. Sorry if you are not feeling well. (Trust?) you are feeling better now. Love Nina Ryan.
Got my 1st B. Day letter in (club?) to-day from Esther. Col. Green died this week.'

Colonel Edward Howland Robinson Green was a politician and the son of the infamous tycoon Hetty Green, 'the Witch of Wall Street'. He was a renowned coin and stamp collector. His collections are still talked about today. He died June 8th, 1936, a day before this postcard was written. His residence no longer exists as the property was sold to developers in the 1980s.

I started collecting vintage postcards and stamps a couple of years ago. I hope you love them as much as I do! My cards and stamps can be used for collecting, sending, scrapbooking, making jewelry, book covers, paintings and many other different types of art projects.

Each order comes with a bonus random card or stamp from my collection.

1930s Vintage Postcard: Residence of Colonel E. H. R. Green, Round Hills, So. Dartmouth, Mass.
