This is a beautiful circular bridal veil dating from the 1930s or 1940s. It's made from a white net, slightly stiff and probably rayon (so it will stand out beautifully) machine embroidered at the edges with a lovely bow motif. The edges are scalloped.

A pretty short veil like this will really set off the long slim lines of a 1930s or 40s satin wedding dress! The perfect veil to wear down over the face then turn back at the altar. So romantic!

Size: 50" diameter, circular.

Condition: good but not perfect. Veil seems clean and eminently wearable, but a few small flaws.
The net has no hem and there is some fray at the edges (which would be easily dealt with by trimming the edge). Two areas of very small breaks in the net near the edge (pic 3), and a couple of places where there is a break near the bow (pic 2). I think this may have happened when the machine embroidery was applied. It really isn't too noticeable. There is also one small brown dot on the edge - see picture 5.
