Harrison Fisher was a renowned magazine cover illustrator in the early 20th century. His illustrations in this series of beautiful women in lavish clothes are considered a classic and are much sought after.

This drawing, from the 1907 edition of A Dream of Fair Women (Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company), illustrates a poem by James Whitcomb Riley that reads in part:

Such joy it is to hear her sing,
We fall in love with everything--
The simple things of every day
Grow lovelier than words can say.

The full print is shown in the last photo. The other photo shows details from the print.

In very good condition, as per photo.

This is an original plate from the book, not a reproduction! Bananastrudel sells only originals.

Sent to you flat, in an acid-free sleeve with sturdy backing.
