This camera is even older then I feel. It has the dates of 1/12/1897 and 4/11/1899 stamped into the back case. and was finally "Patented" 11/10/1909. (I think that the patent has expired) I have no idea as to how it worked. I really do not even think that it matters, Plus I am reasonably sure that you can no longer get film for this. Perhaps I am wrong. But it will make a very nice addition to a collection. or radically "Steam Punked" However, I do not in fact know if this equipment herein offered will take an actual picture, or preform the function for which it was intended, as it is really not in my best interests both from a financial and time point of view to find out. I suspect that it does and that is the best I can offer. There are no refunds of any kind offered with the cameras and accessories I sell. They are what they are and that is all that they are, A collectible, nothing more and certainly nothing less. >>>>There are no shipping discounts offered with the multiple purchase of cameras, parts or accessories, the postage will be adjusted to reflect the extra weight of extra camera purchases, The postage shown is for a camera shipped to California, the closer you live to New York, probably the less it will cost, and if you should happen to live on my block , or next door it is going to be free. Shipping is by USPS "PRIORITY, PARCEL POST or FIRST CLASS" mail. Contact me BEFORE you purchase a camera to obtain the cost of postage to your location, otherwise the California PRIORITY postage prevails.(unless you live in, oh say, Siberia for instance, then it will be a little more) I will be glad to provide more pictures upon request But probably not to much more information as I do not have any.
