Presenting a charming lidded trinket or mint dish from the Otagiri Trademark , Japan. Otagiri imported such collectibles from Japan and most were hand painted by select artisans and sold in high end stores in the United States. The exact date of this dish is unknown but quite possibly it dates back to the 1970s or earlier. This piece is in pristine condition, without marks or chips. It is 3 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches in height. The artistic composition is flawless , done in soft shades of pink and pale blue. It has a soft shimmer to it and is reminiscent of other fine Japanese china houses such as Mikasa and Noritake. There is a fine gold etching along it's rim and the gold encircles the small handle on it's lid. This distinctive piece would look completely lovely on your boudoir table or on your dining table. It is labeled "Serenade, Otagiri Japan".
