I like all things old, things that I grew up with that are pretty much non-existant or not payed much attention to :( I remember growing up with a rotary phone just like this one that my mom would be on all the time, placing her AVON orders. It was a fun phone, with so many good memories attached to it. I wonder what happened to it... So I recreated it, like I remember it.
It is painted on an 8x8 cradled birch painting panel with acrylic paint. I used decorative paper, scraps of paper from an old children's dictionary and a short letter written by me:)
It is signed, dated and ready to hang!
