Wonderfully rustic and tribal in feel, these dangle earrings showcase turquoise glazed Kazuri* beads from Kenya. The 11mm beads are embellished by tiny metallic circles and are sandwiched between my own hand formed sterling bead caps.

Beneath the Kazuris dangle detailed Hill Tribe leaf charms made of 97.5-99% pure silver.
All dangle from my own hand formed French-style earwires, hammered gently for strength and shape retention.

Metal components - both fine and sterling silver - have been oxidized and tumble polished to a soft 'aged' sheen.
Total length from top of earwire: 2.75 inches, or 7cm.

Your earrings will arrive artfully presented.
Thanks for browsing!

* Kazuri are glazed clay beads made by women in Kenya who are paid fair wages and work in favorable conditions. Like snowflakes, no two are alike, which is a large part of their charm.
The word ‘Kazuri’ means small and beautiful in Swahili.
