1955 Sears Tower Model 51 Folding Camera

This is a great camera, sold by Sears in the 1950s.

Tower model 51. This was made for Sears in 1955 by the Conley Camera Company.

It features:

*All Metal Construction

*Leatherette Covering

*Self Erecting Bed

*Uses 620 (120 with adaptation) Film

*Tower Lens

*Synchronized Shutter

*Hot Shoe

*Time and 1/50 Settings

*Tripod Socket

I have not tested this camera with film, but all parts appear to work as they should except the shutter release on the bed.

The shutter works, but the spring attaching it to the release button on the fold-down bed is missing.

The shutter works well in both settings. The bellows are supple and light proof. The lens and viewfinder are clear.

There are some signs of age and use on the leather covering and the metal finish that add to the character of this great camera, please see pics.

This is a great camera for a collector, or just to put on a shelf and let people say: "Well Wud Ja Look At That!"

Thanks for shopping!
