Description

This vintage small (8") Misha stuffed bear is in mint (never played with) condition. I purchased him new and he has been stored in plastic ever since.

Most of the Mishas are the larger 12" size which I also have listed (see photo of both bears) the 8" is much harder to find.

He is made with thick, chocolate brown plush by Dakin and has plastic eyes and nose with a stiched mouth. He has extended felt feet pads and extended felt claws paws pads. He is wearing a multi colored band around his waist with the olympic logo in the front and the Dakin tag is attached to his bottom. His head is stuffed with shredded clippings and from the waist down he's stuffed with ground nutshells.

Developed by Victor Chizhikov, the renowned illustrator of childrens books, he was made in Korea and is so cute!

These bears were made to commemorate the 1980 olympic games which were held in Moscow.

The United States, along with a number of other countries, boycotted the games, which is why I packed the bears away. Photo # 5 shows both of the bears.

He has been kept in a smoke free/pet free home since purchase
