Perfect for gyokuro and sencha :) This teapot is thrown with sandy buff stoneware that's been glaze with shino and iron bearing slip glazes, wood-fire to produce a surface with a wide range of yohen effects. everything from smooth glassy white to heavy ash covered surfaces that produce a glittery purple matte, with everything in between. It has a filter built into the gallery of the pot which does a great job of catching very small leaves. The interior is glazed with a thin was of shino to protect the clay from absorbing flavor, it's quite neutral.

This pot measures 3.5"t (to the top of the knob) x 3.5"w and at full capacity (without any leaf) it pours 125 ml

Thanks for looking at my work :))
