Liberty Blue soup tureen - Boston Tea Party. This large blue and white soup tureen was made by Enoch Wedgwood for Benjamin Franklin Federal Savings and Loan to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 1975 and also to coincide with the Bicentennary celebrations in America in 1976. The scene depicted on this tureen is the Boston Tea Party. The third photo shows the backstamp on the bottom.

This is a large bowl; it measures 9½ins (24.5cm) in diameter across the top of the bowl. The bowl is 4½ins (11.5cm) high and the lid is 4ins (10cm) high to the top of the decorative knob. As you can see from the photos the tureen is in good condition and looks to have been used very little.

This is a stunning piece of dinnerware and also a collectible item.

Because of its size and weight this item will be sent by registered post which will require a signature.
