Stunning teacup and saucer ornately decorated in a multi-coloured pattern of yellow, pink, seafoam, and green. Made in England by William Lowe, the mark indicates that these Court China pieces were made between 1928 and 1930.

So many beautiful details on this set including gold gilding and ruffled edge on both the teacup and saucer. The depth and vibrancy of the colours is truly amazing, especially given the age of these pieces. The raised florals appear to be hand-painted, and the whole design seems to speak to the Asian influence that was so prominent in the West during the art deco period of the 1920s.

Very good condition with minimal pattern loss and some faint crazing around the base of the teacup (see photo 5).

Perfect size cup for your afternoon tea, also lovely for display or gift giving.

teacup: 3 3/4" in diameter x 2 3/4" tall
saucer: 5 3/4" in diameter
