This cabinet card portrait features a young man from Ohio. I know nothing more about him, though portraits in this style always intrigue me. Why was it taken? What were the circumstances?

The card is marked and dirty as seen in the photos, I've not attempted to clean or alter it in any way. Add it to your collection as is or use it in a project. Cabinet cards went out of style in the early 1900s, so these weren't around for long.

The photographer on this card is W.C Stieringer, successor to Weckman, listed at No 130 W 5th St, Bet. Elm & Race Cincinnati
