Because Marie-Antoinknit has a passion for glitter & glitzy things, I made my latest infinity necklace or scarflace from a yarn made of multihued shiny fibers. There are brilliant blues and playful pinks, a glazing of green and the whole is shot through with an iridescent white thread. We didn't have quite enough light to capture its true essence, but the first and last photos are pretty close to spot on.

The knitted cord is long enough for 8 wraps, each approximately 26 inches around - or about 18 feet long. Each end of the cord has a stylish little knot. Wear it long & loose; short and stacked; knotted and twisted. It's your fashion statement, so make it!

The yarn fiber is a mix of cotton, nylon and rayon, which is what adds the shiny bits. And unlike metallic sparkles, these are completely soft and itch-free! This yarn is unique and there will not be another piece like this one because that's all there is.

If the scarflace gets a little dingy, just rinse lightly, roll in a towel to press out the excess moisture, then lay flat to dry. You could also drape it around a hangar to dry. It shouldn’t stretch or lose its shape.

All items from 9 Elizabeth Street are made in a 100% smoke-free home.
