This is a 9.75 x 21.5 inch image of the Last Supper from the 1950s or 1960s made of durable plastic with a particle board backing. This found object has been repainted by hand with vibrant colors in the style of Latin American religious folk art. The frame and scene itself are a bright orange red with a rainbow of colors radiating behind Christ. The composition of the piece, inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's famous Renaissance mural in Milan, Italy, has been a cherished icon for Catholics throughout the Americas. This 3D painting adds an authentic touch to any Mexican or Southwestern decor. Painted with acrylic paint and finished with a water-based polycrylic protective clear satin finish.
