"Upon all lives each life depends
The lives of flowers and birds
of trees and man
the very earth from which life grows
Is recreated by that life."

Here I'm offering a set of two simply lovely, hardback & fully illustrated nature poetry books by Gwen Frostic. An absolutely BEAUTIFUL and classic example of block printing.
Sparrows, swans, trees, mushrooms, bats and more are illustrated in colors of oranges, browns, yellows, greens and blues typical of the sixties with a great, organic feel.

I just wish I could include more photos on this listing!

Each book front cover has some sun damage, particularly 'A Walk With Me,' but the inside pages and binding are in perfect condition, set aside a slight smell of must which seems typical for books of this age.

An green-inked inscription on the inside Wingborne reads:
To Mother with much love, Penny. Mother's Day 1969. "Thou hast created us unto Thyself, and our heart finds no rest until we rest in Thee."

A Walk With Me - 1958
Wingborne - 1967

Presscraft Papers, Benzonia Michigan.

Measures 6.25x9.25" with 30 individual (60 front and back) unmarked pages in each book.

I offer complimentary postage within the CONTINENTAL USA. I gladly ship worldwide, just please message me prior to purchase to establish a shipping estimate. Thanks!
