Spun with love just for you in Eugene, Oregon!

Farm fresh Romney fleece eco-dyed with organic, fair trade Pacific Northwest coffee, then hand carded with camel down, flax, bamboo, soy silk, silk threads, silk noil, angora bunny, colorful kid mohair locks, strips of coffee-dyed silk chiffon and cotton lawn fabric, and lots of sparkle. I spun this highly textured mixture on my hand crafted Wee Wheel, Pumpkin then thread-plied with a variegated green mohair/merino blend lace weight yarn.

Don't be afraid to knit or crochet with art yarn! This skein, 50 yards, is enough to make a one of a kind cowl or unique wrist warmers on size 15 needles. Convo me if you need pattern suggestions or ideas for using this, or any of my yarns!

Skein Stats

Approx. 50 yards
Super bulky thick and thin, thread plied

Average 5 wpi
Comes to you tied with recycled sari silk ribbons!

I would suggest using size 15-17 needles, or a similar sized crochet hook.

All of my yarns are spun in a smoke-free but pet-friendly household on either my vintage Ashford Traditional or my handcrafted Wee Wheel, finished in Eucalan wool wash, and air dried without weights. Please wash in cold water with a gentle wool wash only!

Frequently asked questions about TheWytchoftheNorth

If you would like to commission me to make a custom item for you, please send me an Etsy convo! This page on my shop blog should answer most of your questions regarding lead time, cost, etc: https://wytchofthenorth.wordpress.com/custom/
If you would like to purchase an item via payment installments, please convo me! The following rules apply:

1. All layaway plans incur a 10% handling fee, because I have to wait longer to receive payment. (For example, a $100 piece becomes $110, a $50 item becomes $55, etc.)

2. You will need to give me an estimated payment schedule at the time the layaway is set up (such as once every two weeks, once a month, etc.)

3. If you need to miss a scheduled payment, please let me know ASAP. I will allow up to three payment extensions for scheduled payments. If you do not pay and do not contact me, I will cancel and refund you, minus $25 as a non-refundable hold deposit.
I will reserve an item for you for free for up to ONE CALENDAR WEEK, by the end of which time I expect the item to either be purchased or a layaway plan to be set up (please see above).

2. If after one week the item has not been purchased or put on layaway, I will cancel the hold and return the item to inventory. (You are still welcome to purchase it when you are able to, if it remains available.)
If there is a problem with your purchase, please contact me BEFORE you leave negative feedback. I am a five-star seller and would like to keep it that way. I am 50+ and disabled and Etsy is my primary source of income; customer satisfaction is my #1 priority, and I will do everything in my power to make things right for you!

I do not offer refunds unless your item is received as damaged. I offer very clear product photos and descriptions; please refer to these carefully so you are aware of size, scent, etc. Please keep in mind that monitors display colors differently.

If an item is received as damaged, I am almost always willing to repair or replace the item; convo me!
Please know that I deeply appreciate each and every one of you! All customers receive a 10% thank-you coupon that can be used on any purchase in my store (except for custom orders and layaway payments). In addition, I always tuck a free sample of something lovely into every order I ship. (If you are scent-sensitive, please let me know in "note to seller" that you would rather not receive free samples.)
Because business in my shop has slowed down dramatically since April, and I can no longer afford to restock the essential oils needed to make the full range of scents I used to offer. I am still offering some scented products (such as the charcoal incense and the body oils) but I am making and listing them as I can afford to do so, rather than on a made-to-order basis.
