Thirsty, big, and bold, this overnight pad is qualified for postpartum or medium incontinence use as well, with 4 layers of organic bamboo and cotton batting sandwiched between two layers of 100% cotton flannel. A full layer of waterproof PUL rounds out this all-star pad's charms, and with stitching only at the sides, it retains its Very Important Waterproofing Abilities. :)

All flannel is prewashed in unscented, additive-free laundry detergent in my smoke-free, dog-friendly home.

~:♥:~ Cloth pads make your period--a trying time for the best of us--more pleasant. Cloth pads just FEEL better than plastic, disposable pads, and their bright cheerfulness in your panties will make you smile and feel better when the crampy, bloaty, bleedy time hits...or they'll certainly brighten any day if used for back-up protection for incontinence, ovulation, or for the post-sex dribbles.

~:♥:~ Cloth pads are good for the environment! You won't be throwing a large quantity of plastic pads and cotton tampons away for years, adding to landfills and contributing much more to water pollution than you would if using cloth.

~:♥:~ Your wallet will thank you! Cloth pads are much less expensive than disposables, in the long run. I have the first cloth pads I ever made 5 years ago out of an old tablecloth, a baby blanket, and an old towel, and they're still working great!

~:♥:~ Sensitive skin appreciates cloth, since you can choose which, if any, chemicals you put next to your skin. Disposable menstrual products don't offer that luxury.

~:♥:~ Cloth pads are CUTE!! Way cuter than disposables. You could even call them designer pads. ;D

Cloth pads are fairly easy to care for. I like to rinse mine in cold water after use, soak them in a bucket of water with a little oxygen bleach until I'm ready to wash them, and then wash them in cold water with some diaper detergent (my favorite is Nellie's Washing Soda), then machine dry. The cold water, oxygen bleach, and washing soda have been phenomenal at getting all blood stains out!
