This piece of ash wood came from a tree limb weekend by insects then felled in an early autumn storm.
Naturally curvy rim. Piercings created by the bugs that caused the tree's demise.

This bowl is to shallow for a working yarn bowl, but it would make a nice place to display your favorite ball of handspun yarn.
