This listing is for Two reusable drawstring produce bags (approximately 10"x15"). These cotton and nylon netting bags are the perfect green solution to replace the plastic produce bags you use at the grocery store or farmer's market.

The closure is secured with a lightweight plastic cord stopper. The mosquito netting in the bags is light weight and durable through many washings. The tight weave of the mosquito netting, as opposed to netting or tulle, makes these bags useable in the bulk section of the grocery store as well as the produce section. They won’t hold flour but they can be used for rice, beans and oats.

They also make great project bags, lingerie bags for the wash and my teenage daughter likes to use one to carry her lunch to school.

These bags are made from the same pattern I designed and had published in the 2011 issue of Quilt Scene magazine: http://www.interweavestore.com/Quilting/Magazines/International-Quilt-Festival-Quilt-Scene-2011.html
