Bakelite glass carafes, Inland Glass Works, bakelite handles, platinum trim, 1949 collectible.

This vintage pair of Inland Glass Works serving size carafes were designed by Ernest Lilja and manufactured in limited quantity in 1949. Labeled "The Modern Carafe" they were part of a set. The handles are bakelite and the rings and neck are coated platinum. These originally had cork and metal stoppers. They are in good shape with some light scratching and measure 6.25" high.

Great Eames era style, and a nice addition to your collectibles!
