"She held her good sword
and thrust,
the thing she came into this world to do.
Dream fighting,
crowns and kingdoms,
the shadows of heartless leagues,
a temporary illusion"

That is the poem built into the work. The piece is composed on 12" x 12" x 2" cradleboard and includes the music to the "Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart, a vintage roadmap of Washington State, four cards from an antique German deck of playing cards, a miniature door frame, steel wool, glass bottles, gears from a clock, collage, alcohol dye, scrap wood, wire, nails, bees wax and resin.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece of art that is signed, sealed and ready to hang. No additional framing is necessary. It will balance on a shelf as well.

Portland area people, if you are able to pick up the piece from me I will refund your shipping charges. Please convo me if that is a possibility for you
