This is a very old, very heavy solid brass ship's binnacle that was used to protect the compass. It looks like a deep sea diving helmet with a full grass face. The back has little sliding doors. The top has two handles that slide up and down. I have pictured them standing up. There is a piece missing from the very top where the round hole is. I can see a short hairline crack along the bottom running vertically on the back and side. Along the very bottom edge of the glass there looks to be a very small chip inside the glass, not sure. It has to be one of the coolest things I have come across yet! Shipping to include insurance, will ship UPS so I would need you physical address, no PO boxes.

Dimensions are app. 14 by 14 inches high and round.

Convo me with questions, my little steampunk friends!

Reserved for Chris, please do not purchase unless you are her, thanks!
