This rare and collectible 1960s battery operated toy was made in Japan by Rosko, and was a tie-in with the "New Adventures of Pinocchio" TV cartoon. This fantastic little mod Pinocchio plays "London Bridge is Falling Down" on his rainbow xylophone! The puppet figure sits on a tin litho base in the shape of a grassy field with a log. Jiminy Cricket is on the side of the log. The Pinocchio figure is made of tin, with a vinyl or rubber head and felt hair and clothing. This toy is delightfully detailed and makes a great decorative piece. Best of all, the toy is in working condition!

The base of this toy measures about 8 inches long by 6.5 inches wide. The toy measures about 8 inches tall from the bottom of the base to the top of Pinocchio’s head.
It weighs 870 grams.

This toy is in great working condition! I have battery tested it, and Pinocchio plays his tune perfectly. It is also in excellent cosmetic condition, with no significant damage; there may be a little bit of fading/surface dust on Pinocchio, and a few very small scratches on the surface decoration on the tin litho. Overall, the toy is wonderfully bright and vivid. Unfortunately I don't have the original box.

There’s a manufacturer's note on the side of the toy’s base: “To avoid serious breakage, make sure that once you switch on, please do not touch the button until he finishes playing.” So make sure that you do that!

I live in Canada, and will be shipping via Canada Post. I apologize for their high rates! I will refund any overcharge on shipping over $1 -- I'm not out to make money on shipping fees.

US BUYERS: I will use Expedited or Tracked Packet mail for this package. These services include tracking and insurance coverage, and should usually arrive within 4 to 7 business days. I will charge a flat rate of $20 and cover any additional amount. Express and Priority mail are also available for an additional charge. I am happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever possible!

CANADIAN BUYERS: Expedited parcel post within Canada will be between $15 and $24, depending on your location. This price includes tracking and delivery confirmation, and I will chip in the cost of insurance against loss. Please contact me with your postal code for a more exact quote. I am happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, and within Canada, you can probably get quite a big box full of goodies for not too much extra shipping money.

EUROPE AND AUSTRALIA: Tracked Packet shipping to most countries in Europe will cost $64; Australia will be a few dollars more. This service includes tracking and insurance. Estimated delivery time is 7 business days. Under some circumstances, with advance discussion, I will consider sending this overseas by air mail instead: air mail costs $45 to most European countries, but it does NOT include insurance or tracking. This would be at your own risk. Estimated delivery time for Light Packet Air mail is 6 to 10 business days for European destinations.
