I had no idea this could actually be used to play as well. (I’m not familiar with guitar AT ALL). The person I purchased it for was as unaware as well! The informational card that came with it included the names of some HUGE stars that utilized coins to play. They said that the coin impacted the sound (in a good way). They were so excited to be able to alter or fine tune their art in such a simple way. Engraving their birth year was the perfect surprise! I honestly thought it was more of a memorabilia piece, but it is functional, art, and a tool. Highly personal gift. GUARANTEE the (lucky) guitarist in your life will ADORE this gift!!!!!! Seriously!
