Introduced by Western Electric in 1965, the Trimline was the first American telephone to achieve design recognition in Europe. It was the forerunner of the modern phone where the dial was located on the handset as opposed to the base unit.

This WORKING 1970s desk model in dark orange color is in very good vintage condition. It has touch tone dial and a ringer volume adjuster underneath. There are some scratches (mostly on the cradle) as to be expected and a small chip on the jack socket at the base (see 5th photo) which does not affect the functioning of the phone. The set has a good weight to it (2 lb.) not like the lighter models produced today.

PLEASE NOTE: the retro color of the phone was very hard to photograph, and is best described as a dark / burnt orange or persimmon color, and may not be as red as it appears on your screen.

Measurements: 8” length approx.
A wall cord can be supplied upon request.

TIP: this phone would go nicely with our Task Lamp also featured in this shop:

Although their colors are not an exact match, both are in dark orange and very retro.
