A neat smaller ashtray made of mexican coins. 20 Centavos coins around the rim, 5 Centavos for the legs and cigar/cigarette rests, and a large Cinquenta Centavos piece dated 1957 in the middle. The coins are very shint and the oldest is from 1953. Most recent is 1970. The ashtray is solid metal and the coins seem to be welded or soldered into place. The metal around the coins looks to be painted with a clear brass colored glaze which lets the polished metal underneath shine through to make the whole thing very bright in the light which is seen well in the 1st picture. The coins are in very good shape and have a nice shiny patina with very clear designs. Overall a nice collectible for anyone that likes ashtrays or coins.

Measures 4.25" in diameter and sits 1.4" high
