Featured in a Kambriel NYC fashion show: http://kambriel.livejournal.com/328513.html

This one of a kind headress lends an opulent feel of mystique harkening back to art deco orientalism and victorian decadence. It is fashioned from a wreath-style bridal headpiece covered in deep black velvet accented with pleated black satin and adorned with elaborately beaded, authentic Victorian era faille. It can be worn either upwards in a diadem or tiara/crown style, or worn such that it comes down further over the forehead. It is being shown in the diadem style.

Condition: While the wreath headdress itself and pleated satin is newly made, there are clear signs of age & wear to the delicate faile background & the Victorian beadwork itself (stiffened with its original circa 1880 buckram netting in the back) as well as missing beads ~ especially near the edges. This elaborate beadwork panel was rescued from a cape dating back approximately 120 years, so the wear is commensurate with age, but there is still much beauty to be enjoyed as this newly revamped design frames your face with extravagant handworked details. Truly a one of a kind treasure!

All sales are final. Many thanks in advance!
