2 1/4" x 1 5/8", 5.7cm x 4.1cm. A darling specimen of Vanadinite, a Lead Vanadinate, from the deserts of north west Africa. Bright red hexagonal crystals cover the front of the specimen; this one is an excellent reference sample for crystallography, and a wonderful display specimen of the species. The Midelt area has been mined for over 150 years, and it's still going strong, producing world-class specimens every year. Specimen comes with stand and label, ready for your display.
