Description
This barrette has cream feathers and black velvet bow that has a swarovski crystal center. The back has both a hair clip and a pin/brooch so you can use it on your hair, a dress, a hat or anything that suits your fancy. Perfect for that special outfit. I handmade this barrette. I incorporate vintage buttons, fabrics & jewels that my mom, who was also an artist, collected but never got to use, from the late 1950s - 1980s. I mix them with feathers and some new items that catch my eye in the alleys of the Downtown Los Angeles Fashion District.
My studio is smoke free and pet free.
I send your package within 24-72 hours of receiving payment. I also use all recycled packaging so we can minimize our mark on the environment. I ship your items with ample padding and care to be sure that they do not arrived ruffled.

Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
I accept paypal, check, or cash. Also if you want to save the shipping cost and you are in the Los Angeles area, you can pick it up, just contact me. CA residents pay sales tax due to the law. I always wait after receipt of payment by Paypal or credit card through etsy or when the e-check or money order has been cleared and deposited into my account before I ship the item.
Returns & exchanges
To minimize any issues, if you have any questions about the item before you purchase, you can email me and I am quick to respond. If you want to exchange your item, email me for specific info on that particular item but my policy is usually that I will accept something unused/undamaged within 7 days and I will refund your money minus the shipping + my paypal and etsy fees for the item (usually about $5 depending on price of the item)+ an additional $10 for relisting/handling. Thank you!

I use all reused (the best way to recycle) packaging so we can minimize our mark on the environment. I ship your items with ample padding and care to be sure that they do not arrived ruffled. I ship out 7-21 business days after payment depending on item. I am based in Los Angeles and it can take about 2-12 days for regular domestic shipping once it departs depending where you live. Some clients in California have received their order in 1-2 days. Another example of shipping time is I recently sent to the east coast and it took 6 days. A package to Hong Kong recently took 6 days as well. To Australia, it has taken 9-17 days. To the UK it has taken 10 days. If you need it sooner or want to check if it can make it by a certain date, let me know in your message. For super speedy deliveries, I can do express or priority shipping, just add it when you check out. Holiday times have slower postal turnaround times. Or if you already have a fedex or ups number, I can use that to ship as well, just let me know in the message and I can ship that day or the next day after it is made. USPS Overnight Rates for overnight are $58 for my items - USPS guarantees overnight-2 day. I am able to track your shipment if it is domestic and paid for by paypal or if you choose fedex/ups. IMPORTANT: Some countries (like UK) impose their own duty and VAT Taxes. You are responsible for these charges. I have not found a way around them, I'm sorry! Additional policies
I also give discounts for bulk orders (for example you have bridesmaids needing the same item) and I also will do designs in desired colors or styles to match your look. Just let me know colors or what you like and I can make you a custom design! They can be done usually in a week or two depending on what you want. Unfortunately custom color orders will be more expensive than my regular items because I buy feathers in bulk for my current designs.
