This vintage cherry pie plate is decorated with pale red cherries and a cherry pie recipe stamped on the base of the pie plate. Excellent for font lovers - "cherry pie" is printed in big bold san-serif letters across the front Calibri or Century Gothic.

Mount Clemens Pottery Co operated out of Mount Clemens, Michigan. Pie bakers such as this one were produced in Japan for the company until 1987.

The back-stamp reads: Dishwasher & Microwave Safe Oven-Proof, Freezer-to-Oven-to-Table, Mount Clements Pottery, Yours ... From the good Earth. Made in Japan.

11" (28cm) diameter
2" (5cm) deep

Very good to near excellent. There is no chips, cracks, crazing or stains and the design contains minimal wear.
