Per Bill: Absolutely gorgeous, expensive material and it finishes beautifully! This was the first piece I made from this material & hope to learn more & more about it!

Per Carla: Bill has turned this covered bowl out of a piece of fossilized Walrus Tooth. This particular tooth was a nice ivory color with darker brownish red running through it. The color variations & design in this material is wonderful! Look at the detail he turned "inside" the lid. Goes the extra mile even if it won't be seen very often :-)! This covered bowl could be used in either a 1/2" or 1/4" scale setting depending upon your vision.

Measurements: 7/32" tall X 7/16" wide. Inside depth of 1/8" w/opening of 11/32"

The coin is a Mercury Dime.

We are not entirely certain of the Federal Law that pertains to Walrus "Tooth" so we are only shipping this inside the United States just to be safe. Please do not purchase this if you live outside the US. THANKS!!
