Sea glass is a precious treasure found on very few beaches of these Hawaiian islands. The journey begins once cast away as rubbish or tossed in a dump off the rocky cliffs as refuse. Combination of time, weather, sun and movement of ocean currents and tides, strong surf with tons of sand sculpt, sand and shape the broken pieces into these precious gems. These colorful jewels wash up on the shore of few beaches on Kaua'i.

This lot of 17 have some interesting shapes and for the most part, flat and very similar in thickness, color and size. Maybe a jeweler can envision a lovely bracelet or necklace made from these.

Each piece is combed by hand from along the shores of Kaua'i. They are naturally tumbled by the sea after decades of storms, sand and surf. These gems are just as found and never mechanically or chemically altered in any way. There are 17 pieces which are flat and uniquely shaped and might work for the jeweler or crafts persons adding a bit of aloha, color and wonder from this beautiful Garden island of Kauai, in the Pacific Ocean.

Great for those special beach themed projects, mosaic, frames, ornaments, jewelry, candles and paintings.

Coloration may vary on different monitors, so for this example I shot the photos in 3 different settings.
