Corning Ware Corelle Winter Frost White Pie Pan. Go Green with Corning Ware, you can bake, serve and store leftovers all in one dish, then reheat leftovers in the same dish! This pattern was made by Corning Ware in the 1970's and is called Winter Frost White, also goes with the Centura pattern. It is made of pyroceram a glass like material. Pyroceram was invented in the late 1950's and is a special mixture of glass and crystalline ceramic that Corning Ware holds the patent on, it is made to withstand both heat and cold. Several years ago Corning Ware was sold, and the Corning Ware line of Pyroceram was discontinued , the few pieces of Corning Ware they still make are not made of pyroceram like the earlier pieces, newer pieces are marked Made in China and are made of a ceramic material.

This pie pan is 9 3/4" across and is 1 1/2" deep. It is in excellent gently used condition, no chips, clean and ready to use. Please see our other listings for additional pieces of vintage Corning Ware and our store profile for our current sale code!
