The boys in the lab have been working on this hot little number. While it may appear to be a gasoline blow torch used by plumbers in the early part of the century to weld pipes together, it is actually a gasoline cigarette lighter. I know...the boys in the lab have to get out more. This torch includes the gasoline well at the top that you light to warm the gasoline as it comes out so that it burns better. I'm not making that up, it's part of the research that is included in the service. The torch has not been taken apart and cleaned so it is really that rusty. Based upon the size, I would think this was for a "do it yourself" plumber, The torch is about 6 inches tall and the nozzle is about 4 inches long.
