This very pretty Art Deco butterfly peach and green enamel brooch has random splashes/spatters of red, orange, green and blue giving it an unusual appearance. The wing markings can be clearly seen in the peach area but are more obscured in the green splashed section.

The pin is in very good vintage condition for it's age ( 1920's ) with no visible chips or damage to the top side.
It is only when you look at the rear you find any indicators of it's real age. It has a secure "c " clasp, and the press moulded brass has a general sprinkling of small patches of what look like erosion when viewed with a loupe. In the top left corner of the tip of the wing (rear side) there is some darkening that looks more like black paint and it can be gently scraped off to reveal the brass.

None of these things detract from a very pretty vintage butterfly brooch with unusual details.
It would be pefect for wearing with a Summer outfit.

It comes from a non-smoking, pet free environment.Do please check my terms and conditions before purchase.Shipping quoted is non tracked Please convo me for alternatives such as a tracked service and EU prices
