Antique White Family Rotary sewing machine in a gorgeous Mission or Craftsman style cabinet, seen referred to as ‘1912 Grand Mission Family Rotary, Cabinet 30’.

Sewing machine is numbered FR 2398124 w/ June 3, 1913 trademark, and features beautiful Art Nouveau decals, cast iron treadle, old leather belt, box of Griest attachments & accessories - see list below with 32-pg ‘Five Stitch Attachment Book 12 Directions’ manual explaining their use.

Mission cabinet is covered in dark oak veneer and features a built-in measuring ruler of different inlaid woods, a storage cubby in each leg; 6 drawers w/ locks (but no key), and the word “WHITE” embossed on the front of cabinet in large wooden letters.

This highly collectible beauty is about 100 years old and is in pretty great shape for its age: veneer on cabinet is 99% intact, with light wear and only a few small missing spots; lid has a small chunk broken from its underside edge and a gouge (from rubbing against top of machine?); decals on machine are somewhat worn, and it needs to be cleaned. It has not been tested as to workability, but everything appears present.

Accessories in black metal ‘Rotary’ box include:

~ 5-Stitch Ruffler
~ Binder
~ Edge Stitcher
~ Tucker
~ Several Hemmers & Feet
~ Quilter Guide
~ Shirring Plate
~ Underbraider Plate (?)
~ Screwdriver

Also comes with a Universal Darner in original Art Deco box with instructions.

White aficionado Joel Metz wrote an informative blog on his pursuit of a similar machine & cabinet; thanks to him for cataloging the attachments! http://www.blackbirdsf.org/diy/white/

Please note: We have another White Family Rotary machine, numbered FR 3118880, which has been converted to electric and includes a separate clip-on light. Please inquire if interested.
