Very old vintage Mother of Pearl buttons that were carved from shells. They have two holes, are wafer thin, and measure 1/2 inch across. These were made anywhere from the 1930 to the 1950s. Each package of buttons weighs 21 grams and contains 80 or more buttons.

Their color ranges from shiny silver white to very pink striations amidst the silver white. They are much brighter than shown on my scanner. I have several lots if you would like to order more. I found them in an old warehouse.

These would be perfect for shawl ends, necklaces, earrings, whimsical buttons on a smock, millinery, knitting and crocheting, and anything else you can imagine. These are fabulous on quilts. And they can make wonderful necklaces, bracelets and drop earring. Also fabulous for Pearly Queen and King costumes.

Thank you for looking and enjoy!
