Hand forged from recycled high carbon steel (an old file), this bushcraft blade is ideal for journeys into the wilderness. The all-metal blade has been heat treated and tempered into a deep bronze color for a sharp and lasting edge, perfect for carving wood. The blade has a flat grind bevel, making it easy to sharpen with basic tools and highly functional. This knife has been sharpened on Japanese water stones and stropped razor-sharp. The all-metal handle has been wrapped with natural cotton cord and sealed with waterproof amber shellac. The impregnated cord wrap allows for a clingy grip that will weather the worst storms.

The belt sheath is crafted from thick recycled 10 oz leather, riveted together with brass fasteners, and suspended by a thick braided leather cord. The sheath has been thoroughly impregnated and waterproofed with beeswax by using an ancient armor-making technique known in Italian as 'cuir boulli', or boiled leather.
